At the heart of Bellazul lies Bella, a well-travelled adventurer and thrill-seeker, who spent years traversing the charming coastlines of the Mediterranean and immersing herself in the unique, seasonal ingredients of the land and sea. On her travels, Bella spent her days enjoying the diverse dishes that the Mediterranean has to offer and collecting cherished recipes from well-loved locals, igniting a passion for cooking in her.

Upon returning to London, Bella was determined to bring these cultures back with her, deciding to open a restaurant that highlights the fresh, seasonal produce found across the Mediterranean with each dish designed to bridge these different cultures together.
